Petplay foods are a delicious way to reinforce a kinky roleplay animal dynamic. They’re also useful to have on-hand for training. This post includes some pre-made options. Coming up on my next blog. Petplay Foods: Part 2 is homemade snack recipes!
Petplay Foods For Kinky Kittens
I’m going to start with kitties since I’m a kitty! Sushi is a sexy and exotic meal choice if a whole romantic dinner is planned. The seafood theme is lots of fun, and it can make dinner seem special. If you want, you could also incorporate some nyotaimori/nantaimori – serving the sushi placed on a leaf on a naked body! (…nyantaimori??) Swedish fish, the red gummy candy, are small enough for non-meal treats. Lemon-lime and orange Swedish fish also come in bags. Since this option is pretty sugary, I recommend using this as a special reward. Goldfish crackers are probably my favorite.
Since they’re so snackable and bite-sized, they make the perfect training tool. Kitty can have several in a short period of time as reinforcement for performing tricks correctly. They also have the widest variety of flavors – original, cheddar, and parmesan are the most popular, but there’s a line of graham goldfish with flavors like vanilla cupcake, cinnamon, and strawberry shortcake. My thoughts on this? I think “flavor-blasted” gets messy, but maybe your kitty loves to lick and suck on your fingers.
Petplay Foods For Puppies
One of the cutest things I’ve ever seen is Keebler’s Scooby-Doo! Graham Cracker Sticks. As with the graham goldfish, they’re suited well for training or catching treats in the mouth.
Trying to get a puppy to roll over? Use the roll over sign with a Scooby snack in hand and watch them go crazy for it! Put one of the sticks on the puppy’s nose and see if they can flick it in their mouth without “paws” helping. Pre-made “Puppy Chow” from Chex Mix is called Muddy Buddies. The traditional snack is for those with a sweeter tooth and retains the look of dog food. Throw some in a bowl and have your pet eat it from the floor.
More About Petplay Food Mixes
Flavored or original Chex Mix, in general, is an excellent snack due to the size and variety. I was once presented with a dark chocolate Chex mix, and I will never forget how delicious it was. Cheddar and Honey Nut kinds are nice and savory. Bunnies and birds might be less common, but the food is still fun.
Other Great Options
Nuts and carrots are a healthier way to go, and a way that your pet can practice their bite or snap. Frozen blueberries and grapes can even add some temperature play elements. Of course, any petplay submissives can switch among all these suggestions, regardless of animal persona, and I’m sure there are other creative options out there! In a future post, I’ll list actual recipes that are friendly to real dogs and humans! Not only is the homemade component fun, but the knowledge it’s real dog-safe can be thrilling and immersive. Stay tuned!
