Opening Gateways has been hosting events for BDSM in Ann Arbor for many years. In addition to Ann Arbor BDSM play parties, we also host game nights, BDSM classes in Ann Arbor, and more. For now, Opening Gateways is switching over to virtual BDSM events, when our venue opens and it is safe for people to get together. Read below about how these will work. Keep checking this page if you are interested in BDSM events in Ann Arbor of a virtual nature. We will be focusing on classes and social events. A schedule and process will be up when we have the information put together. These kink events will be starting in July. We are also looking to host picnics and other social distancing events as soon as we can.

Smaller video Skype kink events in Ann Arbor will be happening if people are interested. Opening Gateways wants to provide ways for people to meet kinky people in A2, kinksters in Detroit, and people in other areas of Michigan and beyond. We are planning some great virtual kink classes too. If you have ideas, please send a note! Upcoming topics include ‘At Home Kink,’ ‘Pet Play,’ and ‘BDSM Safety 101.’ Let us know what topics you are wanting to see as well.
How The Events Will Work
Skype – Create a Skype account for these kink events if you want to join these, your privacy is important. We will be putting up times people can sign up for, with spots for 4 – 6 people in each. You will need to send a note to Parker and do a call to do a quick vet and age verification.
FreeConferenceCall – This is what we are planning to use for larger Ann Arbor kink Events and Ann Arbor BDSM classes. We are looking into instructors and topics, let us know on Fetlife page if there is anything you want to see! Age verification is required, as well as an account. We use will be using all the privacy settings to protect your privacy.
Picnics – Again, send a note on Fet or use the contact page here for more information. Age verification will be required, as will social distancing for the time being. Things will be moving towards more standard events over time. Thanks so much for all of your patience.
Regular In-Person Events – Once the venues are open, we will be set to go. Opening Gateways is continuing to schedule BDSM events in Ann Arbor and will be ready to go as soon as things are cleared. Check out our August, September, and October dates on the Ann Arbor BDSM events page.
