Oh baby. Socks. Anyone that follows my fetlife picture feed knows that I freaking love socks. I adore festive, bright, colorful, sexy, unique and tall tall tallll socks! When I was fiddling around on twitter, #KinkOfTheDay came across my feed and with a subject so delightful, I knew I had to take part in writing about it.
So what is it that I love about socks?
I love their texture, I love that they keep my toes warm! Also, I love that they make covering my sexy legs an event worth celebrating. I love to wear socks in my everyday environment, such as to school or under my jeans at work. I adore that even in a completely vanilla environment, they can start a conversation, make someone smile or add a special little pick-me-up to my day. I’m doing something that is SO SEXY and yet, SO NORMAL! WOO!! In a kinky environment, I love to wear them and see how many people gravitate to them to ask where I got them or if they can touch. Shoes on or off, socks are sexy and cute and fun, all at the same time!
What are my favorite kinds of socks?
Definitely knee high and over the knee. They cling to my calves and give me a nice warm hug. They have so many uses and can be worn so many places. Best of all, they make it so that I can still brave the cold winter months in skirts, YAY! I’m looking for a cute pair or 2 of lacy ankle socks, but 99% of my sock collection make it all the way up to my knees, and beyond.If I could find a couple pair that would actually go all the way up to my ass, that would be AMAZING.
What kinds of scenes do I engage in in which socks are featured?
Great socks are a must for my ageplay. Bright, colorful stripes or patterns steal the show. When I am doing petplay, I love having a comfy but thick pair to pad my knees and shins from the inevitable bumps and scrapes induced by crawling around on all fours. Sometimes, I just love layering and finding a great pair of socks to accent a cute skirt is a blast. Socks are super helpful with role play! Who doesn’t love a school girl with perfect knee highs to go with her skirt and shoes? Best of all, socks don’t have to be all cutesy all the time.
I’ve found that one of my favorite sexy things to wear is a mans button up shirt and a nice set of socks with heels. Simple pleasures. I love that just by wearing a particular pair of socks, I can relive the moments I enjoyed playing in them, if only for a moment. Best of all, when a pair of socks has met its end due to normal wear and tear or even a rough scene, I know that they can live on in the hands of another. It brings me so much pleasure to give my used socks to someone to enjoy. I love the idea of receiving socks as a gift, and then eventually returning them to their gifter.
